This partnership looks less like a marketing badge and more like a silicon strategy. By building Arc X1 around a Snapdragon platform, ARC gains access to hardware-accelerated graphics pipelines, heterogeneous compute across CPU and GPU clusters, and Qualcomm’s modem stack, which together turn a handheld into a persistent online client for multiplayer, cloud streaming, and live updates, instead of a sealed cartridge-era toy.
