Hurdle Hints and Answers Guide
2026-09-27
The clue tiles give away more than they seem to. You should treat each prompt as evidence, not decoration, because Hurdle rewards word association, category recognition, and restraint far more than a frantic first guess. Start with the broadest shared meaning. Then narrow it.
Blind guessing is the trap. You can leverage early clues by testing whether they point to an object, action, place, or abstract idea; once that grammar is clear, the candidate pool shrinks fast. Watch for double meanings, especially when a clue sounds too plain. That is usually the game winking at you.
The answer sequence deserves patience. Do not lock onto the first word that fits one clue, since a strong solution must survive every hint in the set. Write down two or three candidates, remove any word that fails even one connection, and use the final clue as a tie-breaker. You will waste fewer turns. If you had one risky guess left, would you spend it on instinct or proof?
